How do you connect a Pepperl+Fuchs NAMUR sensor to a KFD2-SR2-Ex1.W safety barrier? +

NAMUR sensors are 2-wire devices that change their internal resistance when detecting metal. Connect the positive terminal of the sensor to terminal 1 (+) and the negative terminal to terminal 2 (-) of the KFD2 barrier. The barrier supplies 8V DC, monitors current draw (under 1.2mA for blocked, over 2.1mA for unblocked), and switches its output relays.
